Art Thief!

Journal Entry: Mon Jul 23, 2012, 1:07 PM
Wow.
I recently came across this person ~hiphop-e and his whole gallery was stollen art. It made me sick. But what was even worse was that he is actually trying to sell them to make money.
He's 22 years old, talks like a twelve year old, and has no common sense whatsoever to take the pictures/drawings down, and he clearly knows that it's all copyright infringement .
By doing this, I know that I'm giving him more publicity, but this is absolutely HORRID.
If any of you know how you can report a person on deviantart, then please tell me.

Watcher Feature 2

Journal Entry: Mon Jul 16, 2012, 10:54 AM

This is the second part of my feature for my lovely watchers. My watchers are my friends. :iconheartpinkplz:

Before I start, I am going on a seven day trip to Atlanta, GA, so I will be out of town. During this time, please try not to comment or note me any important stuff. Feel free to fave, though. :giggle:

Also, I tested out a new camera. This was taken on AUTO setting. Does it have good quality?... *The picture is unedited.

Enjoy and fave these lovelies!

The Huntress A somber, dismal atmosphere was imprisoned in the depths of the vicinity. Breathing was shallow, fluctuating quickly with each inhalation, each interval expressing the terms "craving " and "desire".

The prey was oblivious; as always it was. The classic predator would pursue with the typical fashion; primarily the stalk, then the ambush, with stealth as the foremost and persistent attribute. The quality of the silent predator depended on experience; something this particular huntress thrived upon.

The prey did not feel the macabre within the troposphere, the restrained yearning lingering upon the predator's hiding place. It's primitive thou

To pain, To heavens
I am so sick
Your patient, been for a while
Give me some fuel
   To drive, another painful mile

One smoke shield-
Don't fire this up, to protect me from
This painful truth
Whatever it pumps, is making me numb

It's ok...Let go.

Some Basic Tips for Photography

Journal Entry: Sat Jul 7, 2012, 1:58 PM
So this is for my lovely watchers who are all just wonderful! :huggle:
Below are tips on how to improve your photography, and just some basic things you need to know. Make sure you read everything carefully!

It Really Doesn't Matter

Many people are concerned about there cameras. The more expensive, the better. Right?

This is absolutely wrong.

You can get any camera, whether it is a point-and-shoot, or digital, and produce beautiful pictures with it. You don't need a $900 camera to become an expert photographer and to take outstanding photos. All you need is vision.

Focus more on the actual photo then on your camera settings. Yes, those settings are important, but the subject of the photo itself needs to be interesting for the viewer.

But let's pause for a moment. What actually made you interested in photography? The beauty? The sport? Learning all those things about aperture and ISO will take the fun away for most people. Do photography because you love it. Have a picture in your mind on how your photo looks like before you just start randomly taking shots. Even for nature photographers they see their subject, visualize the angle and all the other stuff in their head, then take the picture.

So don't get caught up in your camera. Remember that you should spend more time on your actual photo then on your fancy equipment.
*I'm not saying that you should completely ignore everything on your camera, but just remember what's important.

I know for a fact that some of you out there will still worry about the settings. You want to know about ISO? Well, don't read a 500 page article about it!

By the way, the more higher your ISO is, the more noise will be evident in your photo.

Be smart and learn what is vital. Most of the things on your equipment aren't necessary. This also goes for the internet article's and tips that you search up. I mean come on, is it just

mind-shattering and earth-breaking if you take pictures on auto setting?

Most people make it sound like it is, but there is nothing wrong with it!

Learn to love it

How many times can I stress the fact that you should not do photography for other people. To please them, show-off (I don't think anyone here shoes off!)... it doesn't matter what they think. Once you start taking photographs to please people, you will be more prone to getting your feelings hurt when negative comments come your way or the community's response wasn't what you wanted it to be.

Your wasting your money. If your going to buy $1000 + on equipment to make people happy, then it isn't smart.

Angle

The angle in which you take your photo in makes a huge difference. Now a camera has only one lens right? If you want to find a good angle, then cover one eye and walk around. Remember that this is how your camera sees things, and it will help you find a good angle.
*I heard this tip from somewhere.

What Makes You a Photographer

By becoming a photographer, your job is to capture beauty, and to connect with the world around you. I don't care if your taking a picture of cardboard or a dead cockroach. Just have a connection to it.
If you want all those faves on deviantart, then work for it. Show something in the photo that is worth it for people to widen there eyes or become captivated. Either it's the shape of the cardboard, or the way the cockroach is positioned, there has to be a special thing about your photo.

Quick Facts

- Try photographing pictures during the golden hours if you are an outdoor photographer.
What I mean by golden hours is the time of day where it is best to take a picture. This is usually a little before sunset and a little after sunrise. At these times, the light from the sun will not be too harsh and ruin your photo.

- If you love to take portrait photography, soft light is better for you. Shadows and cloudy days can give you soft light, which makes the edges in your picture softer.

- Next time you are going out to photograph, pay attention to the light around you. Pick places that have interesting light, and it will make your photo a thousand times more beautiful and interesting.

Notice the soft lighting here in this photo. Makes it much more better, doesn't it?

This photo was taken during the "Golden Hours", which was sunset.

No editing was done in here. Try to keep it as natural as possible! But if you do want to fix some things, here is a free photo editing site: [link]

So that's all I have to say! I hope this information was helpful for you.

Dad, Daddy, what does faggot mean?"Dad, Daddy, what does 'faggot' mean?"

It was an innocent question. I didn't mean to make you cry. I still remember how you reacted, even though it was years ago; Seb, you covered your mouth for a moment, then hugged me tight and said "Oh, baby girl. You'll understand when you're older." Chris, you wiped away tears and excused yourself from the room.

I was so confused then; what had made my fathers cry? Nothing made my Dads cry. You laughed and joked around and sometimes got angry, but never cried. I was attached to you by then; you weren't the strangers who'd taken me in. You were Mom and Dad. I just wanted to know what the word I'd heard
Not mineHe's perfect
He's beautiful
He's fun
He's a good hugger
He's funny
He's addictive
He's cool
He's free
He's real
He's faithful
He's talented
He's a listener
He's optimistic
He's alive

But
He's her boyfriend
She's one of my best friends

And
He may be perfect

But
He's not mine
KissKnees bend, hands shake,
Lips part, hearts break,
Blood pumps, thoughts fly,
Bodies melt, worries die,
Heads swim, fingers touch,
Tongues rub, clothes bunch.

Butterflies, adrenaline,
Testosterone and estrogen,
We fit like a glove, so...
Kiss me again, love?
Poetry,She is stardust leaving sweet bones
in her wake.  A trail of poetic destruction
conceived in verse--answering questions
with kisses.  There is a hunger in her
freckled constellations, like spider webs
woven together with golden thread.
Like the wild roses she braids in her hair:
She walks backboned and head held high;
the strongest of letters on a page
left to rest in your mouth.

I'm very sorry if this does not look that visually attractive but it was sooo hard to find pictures with the same resolutions for the huge thumbnails.

I don't normally do tags, but this one time I'll do it. ;P  I got tagged by: ~Erisember :iconerisember: I'm too lazy to tag anyone else.

Five things about me.

1. The worst kind of pain for me is tooth pain. I just can't stand it!!
2. I love where I live expect for only one thing: where I live, it's either really really hot, or really really humid and wet.
3. My favorite hobby ever is photography. I get my inspiration from *leelloor and *naked-in-the-rain.
4.Once someone provokes me in anyway, I get offensive. Quick. But I don't ever hold grudges. In fact... I CAN'T hold grudges.
5. I love collecting jewelry. :giggle: And I'll also add this: I love any kind of food as long as it isn't too spicy.

Question time!

1. Do you have some nickname? :bulletblue: Nope. I go by my name (which I don't want to say because of safety.)

2.What music you listen to? :bulletblue: Any kind of music that is energetic and has a nice beat and lyrics. None of that Justin Bieber crap.

3. In your opinion, does friendship between male and female exist? :bulletblue: Of course it does! Just because someone is the opposite gender, it doesn't mean you can't be friends. For some it might be awkward, though.

4. Sea or Mountain? :bulletblue: Ohhhhh this one is hard. Sea. Just because living on the mountain seems harder.

5. What is the favorite part of your character? :bulletblue: (I'm not sure what this means but I'll answer it the best I can!) The best part of my personality is that I forgive easily. I just think it's better to let go.

6. Do you have animals? :bulletblue: Currently no.

7. Where you want to go for travel? :bulletblue: Spain, France, London, Afghanistan, and definetly the Netherlands! I actually want to travel the whole world. I loooove travel!

8. Have you a favorite color? Why this? :bulletblue: My favorite color is sky blue. It's such a bright beautiful color. And also white because it's a clean, and solid color.

9. Have you a favorite number? :bulletblue: No, too difficult to choose!

10. Are you sweet or sour? :bulletblue: Bittersweet :P. People say I can be really really mean (but I won't ever be mean toanyone for no reason!) or really really nice.

Inspiring Work by Naked-in-the-Rain

Journal Entry: Tue Jun 12, 2012, 9:51 AM
I've seen many beautiful and inspiring photos on dA, but I especially wanted to share with you *naked-in-the-rain's works. They are always so vibrant, cute, and colorful! Her gallery has simply beautiful lip pictures, and especially deep conceptual pieces. I'm a big fan of her photos, :giggle:.

Her lip shots are very creative, and lovely, with amazing depth of field.

And as always, her bubbly pictures are lively and bright, simple but impacting.

And my personal favorite (:la:), her water shots! Each of them are sharp, and have amazing contrast. Her drop photos have really enchanting colors, like a rainbow.

Her conceptual gallery is all about love, life, and imagination. These photos are very inspiring!

Have a look at this artist's amazing gallery and become inspired. Her artwork is fa-bu-lous!
